Mommy confession:

So, we have this very useful The First Years American Red Cross Deluxe Baby Healthcare and Grooming Kit:

American Red Cross Baby Kit

We love it! Actually – just this week I pulled out the hairbrush for the FIRST time because Sunday finally has enough hair to brush! But we’ve been using the baby nail clippers, thermometer, and nasal aspirator for a long time!

However, I confess: I have no idea what these are for:

So… I use them to trim my candle wicks! They totally do the job!

Do YOU know what they are for? Do you use any everyday tools to do unique jobs?

Stephanie - I’m pretty sure they’re nail scissors…but I’m too scared to use them.

Ash - 1. If you ever have trouble reaching the wick in a candle with a regular match/lighter you can use a piece of hard spaghetti.
2. I use a lint roller to quickly clean just about anything except clothes… hair frkm bathroom floor/carpets, inside of car etc.
3. Visine will take the red out of a zit if you hold a cotton ball soaked in it there long enough.
4. And coastal flats in Tyson’s mall doesn’t get good cell service unless you put you cell in a drinking glass… that trick (or a bowl) works anywhere though.
